Clinical Trials

Abbott Vascular is committed to balanced and accurate dissemination of scientific information about medical technologies. As part of the research and development process for new and innovative therapies, Abbott Vascular conducts clinical trials to obtain scientific data and evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medical technology. Once the clinical data are collected, they are submitted with comprehensive analysis to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or other global regulatory agencies for market approval.

Our goal is to provide physicians and patients with access to summaries of trial design and key results in order to facilitate medical decision making. This new section contains information about clinical trials related to Abbott Vascular technologies that are currently on the market. We will continue to add clinical trials on currently marketed technologies to more fully represent the full breadth of research on our technologies.

The information about clinical trials on this website is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to suggest or promote any off-label indications or unapproved uses of Abbott Vascular's medical technologies, or to recommend or promote the use of any investigational, uncleared, or unapproved devices.
