Guide Wire Extension

 


INDICATIONS

The LOC Guide Wire Extension is intended to provide the necessary length to allow the exchange of one catheter for another while maintaining the position of the guide wire in the artery. After the catheter exchange has been completed, the extension can be detached and the initial wire can be used as a conventional guide wire.

 

WARNINGS

This device is intended for one time use only. Do not resterilize or reuse.

 

PRECAUTIONS

Guide wires are delicate instruments and should be handled carefully. Prior to use and when possible during the procedure, inspect the guide wire carefully for bends, kinks, or other damage. Do not use damaged wires. Using a damaged wire may result in vessel damage and / or inaccurate torque response.
